Anne-MarieLux

A stage-trained actress,
working across two continents.

Trained in classical ballet and theatre in Germany, Anne-Marie Lux now works between Los Angeles and Berlin in film, television and voice.

She began at the ballet school of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein and the young ensemble of Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf, then studied acting at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover. Ensemble engagements followed at the Nationaltheater Mannheim and the Staatstheater Stuttgart, with leading roles including the title part in Emilia Galotti, Hedvig in The Wild Duck and Electra in Oresteia.

On screen she has appeared in German productions including Tatort, Servus Papa – See You in Hell, Lena Lorenz and Praxis mit Meerblick. She works fluently in German and English, and is now based between the two cities she calls home.
